
As part of the Technology Forum, Michael Armanious will be speaking on the popular topic “Turning your Warehouse Data into Business Intelligence: Reporting Trends and Visibility” During his career, Armanious has implemented more than 200 warehouse management systems and has assisted over 100 corporations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America and the Middle East in making their warehouse and logistics operations more productive, efficient and profitable using leading edge technology. Michael Armanious is a founding director of the Logistics Department at Datex Corporation, a company which develops supply chain software using the latest technology.
The presentation will focus on how warehouses and third party logistics providers can enhance their WMS functionality and reporting capabilities to meet the needs of customers who want more information visibility. Armanious will review current customer trends in terms of their need for real time information and discuss how this information can be provided.

Michael Armanious’ achievements have been recognized by the Council of Logistics Management, the Warehousing Education and Research Council, the Material Handling Institute, and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. This year, he was recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as one of the 2011 Provider Pros to Know.
Education:
A graduate from Georgia Technical Institute and Rollins College, Mr. Armanious received multiple degrees in International Logistics and science. He continued his studies at the University of South Florida and received the M.B.A. degree in Information Systems and Business Improvement.
