Datex helps companies across the globe ensure profitability. In business for over 40 years, Datex develops and sells supply chain software as well as hardware from industry leading manufacturers Zebra and Honeywell. As an end-to-end solution provider, Datex also provides services such as EDI, integrations, mobile device management and an array of professional services including implementation, training and more.
What type of software does Datex develop?
Datex software primarily is focused on warehouse and related associated operations including:
- 3PL WMS: 3PL Billing and Customer Web Portal
- Shipping management
- Production and Assembly
What type of technology was used in the development of Datex WMS software?
Datex FootPrint® WMS is Microsoft-based and utilizes the following tools:

What does it mean to be an “end-to-end provider” or “one-stop shop”?
This means that Datex can provide a full suite of solutions to companies that invest in technology for their businesses. A comprehensive proposal can be provided, and plans executed so that all or nearly all software, hardware and services can be provided and coordinated from one vendor. This streamlined approach helps our clients keep costs, complexity and timelines better under control.
Does Datex outsource implementation, support or training to resellers or others?
No, development, implementation, training and support are provided using Datex employees and are not outsourced. Datex employees take care of Datex clients.
Datex employees are seasoned, educated, skilled professionals. Many Datex team members have worked in warehouses, distribution centers, fulfillment operations or for manufacturers. Datex prefers to promote from within and encourages team members to continually pursue training, participate in industry associations and remain up-to-date on issues, trends, industry best practices, etc. Because of this, most of our team has worked for Datex for several years or more, often in more than one role or department. This helps provide team members with a broader perspective and access to an array of resources with which to help our clients.
