Datex Welcomes New CEO Michael Armanious
CLEARWATER, Fla. (PRWEB) September 08, 2022 — After 44 years at the helm of growing supply chain technology company Datex International, Founder and CEO Samir Armanious has taken an important step and turned over the reins to the next generation of leadership. He will become the company’s first Chairman of the Board. Chief Revenue Officer Michael Armanious was elected CEO by unanimous board vote and will continue to build upon the strong foundation of expertise, trust, and service for which the company is known.
With over 25 years of experience in third party logistics, supply chain management and logistics, Michael Armanious has participated in over 300 warehouse management system implementations across the globe.
Working hand-in-hand with clients, he has personally participated in or overseen operations company-wide from business development, sales and marketing, finance, customer care, design, configuration, implementation
and project management.
Michael Armanious holds multiple degrees including a Master of Science, Supply Chain Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology; an MBA and a Master of Science, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology both from the University of South Florida. His education also includes specialized coursework in Information Systems & Business Improvement as well as in Supply Chain Logistics.
Taking over as CEO during a time of unprecedented growth, Michael Armanious has personally overseen transformative changes at Datex International including enterprise systems adoption, strategic partnerships, and new product launches. His achievements have been recognized by the Council of Logistics Management, the Warehousing Education and Research Council, the Material Handling Institute, and the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
