Clearwater, Florida (April 30, 2015) Supply chain technology vendor Datex recently introduced the Zebra Technologies MC9200 Mobile Computer. Developed for the supply chain and manufacturing industries, the MC9200 mobile computer is a key player in the Zebra Technologies device transition plan for the MC9190 family beginning mid-year 2015.

The MC9200 was designed as a product refresh of the popular MC9190 SKU family and incorporates the top features and functionality found in this mobile computing device. The Zebra Technologies MC9200 mobile computer is built with the proven, durable construction needed to withstand the extreme conditions workers encounter daily. The rugged form factor construction, omnidirectional imaging engine and high capacity memory are features critical to the MC9200 mobile computer user. Designed with a 1GHz dual core processor to run multiple or complex mobile applications, the extended memory and advanced operating systems help to ensure faster, more efficient operations.

To help increase worker productivity, the Zebra Technologies MC9200 supports up to 802.11q/b/g/n WiFi, the fastest connection available today. The MC9200 is certified for FIPS 140-2 Level 1 government-grade security and is highly rated for drops, subzero cold, extreme heat, dust and spills. Users may customize the device keyboard from six available options and may access additional 32GB memory slot for additional storage capacity. Operating on the Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact CE 7.0 OS users can scan six types of barcodes including 1D, 2D, driver licenses and DPM. With lightweight 27 oz. construction, high resolution VGA Gorilla Glass screen and advanced scanning capabilities, the MC9200 mobile computer helps businesses to increase communication effectiveness and workforce productivity using industry leading barcode scanning technology and highly-intuitive interfaces.
