Software developer Datex will be participating in the 127th IARW-WFLO Convention April 29th through May 2nd, 2018 in Amelia Island, Florida. Vice President of Sales and Marketing Michael Armanious will be presenting a “Tech Talk” entitled “2018: 3 Hot Trends in Refrigerated Warehousing”.

The brief presentation will focus on three trends impacting the refrigerated warehousing industry today: the rise of consumer power, increase in shippers’ need for value-added services provided by 3PL cold storage warehouse operators and growing need for refrigerated warehousing space due to expanded consumer use of biologic pharmaceuticals.

The IARW-WFLO Convention is the signature gathering for executives of temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics companies as well as of suppliers and others involved with advancing the cold chain industry. Designed for senior-level warehousing and logistics executives, the event features an educational program which spotlights keynote presentations, roundtable discussions, peer-peer discussions, networking events, social activities and a Supplier Showcase.

Datex is known throughout the 3PL cold storage industry for its core product, a Microsoft-based warehouse management system that relies on workflow. Designed to enable top notch flexibility at a fraction of the cost of top tier WMS products, Datex Footprint® WMS is often used to manage warehouse, third party logistics and distribution operations that specialize in the storage of regulated goods including food and pharmaceuticals. The Datex warehouse management system was developed with input from IARW and includes IARW-compliant reports.
