FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Clearwater, Florida (April 25, 2013)-Consolidated Storage Solutions Inc. (CSSI) of Zanesville, Ohio selected supply chain software Datex FootPrint® WMS for their warehouse management solution. Consolidated Storage Solutions Inc. selected Datex FootPrint® WMS for its robust functionality and ease of use in dealing with frozen, refrigerated and dry inventory. Acting as a 4th party logistics provider (4PL) for one client, CSSI sought to improve inventory control and visibility.

To ensure capture of all potential revenue, Datex worked with CSSI to ensure documentation of all accessorial billing opportunities from operations performed during both inbound and outbound operations. Using Datex FootPrint® WMS enables CSSI to create new operation specific codes to clearly define tasks for billing such as packing, re-packaging, re-configuration and other tasks.

CSSI also identified that there are instances when they would like to ship out an entire load that had previously been received into inventory. Datex FootPrint® WMS includes a composite license plate process that would allow CSSI to select multiple license plates, associate them to a Composite License Plate (Master LP) then create the order and shipment in a more expedited manner.

Datex FootPrint® WMS includes special features and functionality for cold storage and third party logistics (3PL). The Datex warehouse management system was developed using state-of-the-art Microsoft technology. Datex FootPrint® WMS includes temperature capture, the ability to restrict inventory to specific temperature zones; catch weight; track and trace inventory by Lot, vat code, SKU, UPC or ingredient; 3PL billing including the ability to charge accessorial fees from either a handheld or desktop computer and other features essential for cold storage warehouse operations.

“We appreciate CSSI’s need for more robust functionality and are confident of our software’s ability to meet the challenge” said Michael Armanious, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Datex. “The implementation project has gone very smoothly. We are looking forward to a long, successful relationship for both our companies.”
