The Zebra DS6878-SR General Purpose Cordless Bluetooth 2D Imager can capture all common barcodes (1D, 2D, & PDF417) and labels and mobile phone displays. The optional hands-free presentation cradle enables additional advanced capabilities such as signature, document and photo capture, optical character recognition (OCR) to capture text in documents, and MICR to capture numeric information on the bottom of checks. This cordless Bluetooth 2D Imager can be used in many different industries for different applications. The device is used in the retail industry for Point of Sale (POS) purchase transactions, mobile loyalty and couponing programs, electronic recordkeeping – the capture of paper prescriptions, check-related data and more, payment processing – convert paper checks to electronic debit transactions.
