 Panama City, Panama (October 20th, 2007) - Datex International has participated successfully in Expologistica Panama presenting to multiple companies located in Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Ecuador, and other countries of Latin America, its Supply Chain IT solutions that allow the optimization of warehouses through the implementation of bar code, RF wireless technology and its software solution Datex EX WMS - Warehouse Management System.
Approximately 3000 attendees of different economic sectors, national and international, have participated in this event where the technology culture and the new IT solutions are gaining in importance. The exhibition area has counted with 80 stands, offering information from transnational companies, custom brokers, shipping companies, logistics companies and information technologies, among others.
One of the attendees that visited Datex stand has been Alejandro Cerda, Logistics Director of Distributora J.C, an important distribution and retail company in Ecuador. Mr. Cerda, who traveled to meet with Datex in Panama has expressed his opinion: "Expologística has been a very positive event, with qualified speakers and with an exhibition area that has covered completely my expectations and the range of services related to logistics".
Datex has started its presence in the Panama market 1 year ago, and nowadays already count with clients such as Fashion Consul International, Morel S.A., and Conway S.A., that are currently implementing Datex EX WMS System. With the objective to continue strengthen its recognition in the Panama market and other countries in Latin America, Datex has found in Expologística Panama 2007 a new window to promote its World Class Solutions, emphasizing especially its Warehouse Management System (WMS), the Inventory Management System (IMS), and the extended modules: E-Portal, Order Management System (OMS), Executive Dashboard, among others.
