Mexico, November 11, 2005 – Datex Corporation, an international leader in logistics software systems, announced today that ABC Logistica will implement the Datex EX 3PL Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage all of the warehouse needs for Ericsson Mexico.
ABC Logistica earned the contract as the warehousing provider for Ericsson Mexico through the implementation of 3PL WMS system provided by Datex. The system will automate their warehouse operations by providing real time information, inventory visibility, competition advantages and technology support among other important services. It will also offer ABC Logística the best functionality to support their 3PL services.
The implementation process of 3PL WMS system started last October 24th, with the initial business and logistics analysis of the operations, processes and interfaces. This phase is critical for the project because within this stage the scope and specific requirements will be defined based on Datex Logistics analyst and Implementation team recommendations. The final objective is to provide ABC Logistica with a best of breed turn-key solution that will meet Ericsson´s requirements.
Within the selection process, Datex Corporation offered to ABC Logistica the turn-key solution in conjunction with its Business Partner, Adventech Logistica Mexico, a very well known company in Mexico as a Supply Chain and Mobile Technology provider and integrator. Adventech Logistica is also a Symbol Solution Partner, and they will support this implementation with the radio frequency hardware installation and configuration.
