Ciudad de Colon, Panama (June 14th, 2007) - Megabyte Center, company dedicated to provide data capture automation and software solutions for warehouse, has celebrated this month with the sponsorship of Motorola-Symbol (www.symbol.com), Zebra Technologies (www.zebra.com) and Datex International (www.datexcorp.com), at the Colon Free Zone Users Association, the first seminar for businessmen interested in the automation in electronic orders processes and warehouses.
Around 83 attendees of more than 50 companies of the Colon Free Trade Zone have attended to this event. They had the opportunity to be brought up to date in important concepts for all the organizations and especially for those located in the strategic Free Zone such as: Mobile technology for Showrooms and Warehouses’ Optimization, Trends in Logistics and Efficient Warehousing, Warehouse Management Systems WMS, among others.
Ariel Eskenazi, General Director of Megabyte and organizer of the event, has expressed: "We are very satisfied with the result of the event and the interest showed by the majority of the attendees. Megabyte will continue organizing this type of events in the City of Colon. As a consequence of the success of this seminar, it is estimated that atleast five (5) companies will start the implementation of Datex EX Warehouse Management System during 2007.
