 Lincoln, NE (July 15, 2007) - Datex International announced that Capital Cold LLC, a new cold storage in Lincoln, Nebraska goes live with their 3PL Warehouse Management System (WMS) for Cold Storage.
Capital Cold recently constructed their new 35,000 sq feet facility to provide cold storage and blast freezing services to several companies in the area. When looking for a WMS 3PL software for their new facility, Gerry Urbanovsky, one of the owners, commented “we had experience with a system before and we were not completely satisfied, so instead of doing all the research again, we decided to look for a solution that had good references, especially in the cold storage industry”.
Datex EX WMS 3PL software is composed of modules that automate warehouse operations based on the use of RF terminals and system directed operations. The capabilities of the system include receiving, blind receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, shipping, inventory control and order management among others. For the cold storage industry, the WMS 3PL software provides temperature capture, lot control, pallet tracking, extensive reporting capabilities, and 3PL invoicing. An E-portal was also included where Capital’s customers are able to see their inventory levels, orders, shipments, invoices and reports on a web browser.
The Datex WMS 3PL software went live July 1st, 2007. “They have delivered on everything that they have promised” commented Gerry, “we have already been complemented on the invoices that we have generated for our clients; they find them very easy to read and understand”.
