Guatemala, Central America, December 12, 2006 – Datex Corporation, an international leader in logistics software systems, announced today that Monterrey Logistics, a new 3PL Company in Guatemala, Central America, will implement its 3PL Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage all of the warehouse needs for their future clients.
The 3PL WMS system will automate their warehouse operations by providing real time information, inventory visibility, competition advantages and technology support among other important services. It will also offer Monterrey Logistics the best functionality to support their 3PL operations and all other value added services that they expect to offer to their clients.
The implementation process for 3PL WMS started last December 1st, with the project kick-off and project plan definition. Within the month of December, Monterrey Logistics will establish the IT Infrastructure required for the system implementation, such as the Servers, Networking, Internet capabilities, Radio Frequency network, etc. Within the months of January and February, 2007, Datex and DTSolutions will be implementing the Datex EX 3PL WMS, where the main objective is to provide Monterrey Logistics with a best of breed turn-key solution.
Within the selection process, Datex Corporation offered to Monterrey Logistics the turn-key solution in conjunction with its Business Partner, DTSolutions Guatemala, a very well known company in Central America as a Supply Chain and Mobile Technology provider and integrator. DTSolutions is also a Symbol Solution Partner, and they will support this WMS system implementation with the radio frequency hardware installation and configuration, and providing the corresponding local support.
